Summer Beauty Faves

I have compiled a list of all of my favorite summer beauty products right now! Most of these products can be purchased at Sephora or Ulta. Note, this post is not sponsored and these are my personal faves based on my experience and skin-type. There are also plenty of quality products that I use and are not mentioned... these are just my current faves.

My skin type: Combination (mostly oily) with dark spots and stress-induced acne.

Primer: Milk Hydro Grip Primer | $30 Sephora

This primer gives my skin a beautiful, dewy glow without making my skin oily throughout the day. I also like to apply some of it to my eyebrows before I use my Anastasia dip brow.

Brows: Benefit Cosmetics Gimme Brow+Voluminizing

Eyebrow Gel (color 6: warm black-brown) | $24 Sephora

Believe it or not, this product helped my eyebrows grow in after using this for about a month. If your eyebrows are already on fleek (mines aren't right now) you can legit just use this without additional product since it adds a natural tint and makes your eyebrows visibly thicker.

Brows: Anastasia Beverly Hills Dip Brow Pomade (medium-brown) | $21 Sephora

This product is pricy, I know. However, it does last for a year if you use it everyday. I highly recommend using the Anastasia dual-ended firm angled brush with it because it allows for a more natural application. I have used cheaper brushes from BH Cosmetics, but found that Anastasia works best.

Eye-shadow pallet: Too-Faced Just Peachy | $45

I've always been a fan of Too-Faced and also have their Sweet Peach pallet. I was in lieu for a new one and this pallet didn't let me down. It has beautiful shades of peach and cream that allows you to create various looks for daytime and evening events. There's minimal fall-out (which is something I appreciate) and has transition shades that work on my brown skin. Also, it smells like peaches!

Tip: I purchased this for $49 at Sephora with Too-Faced Better than Sex Mascara and their Peach-Puff Long-wearing Diffused Matte Lip color.

Mascara: MILK Kush High Volume Mascara | $24 Sephora

I am generally not picky about my mascara because the $7 Maybelline Volum' Express Colossal Mascara gets the job done. However, I really love MILK's mascara because I don't have to apply as many layers and it lasts. I judge a mascara's quality by its' ability to make my lashes voluminous without having to apply multiple coats (which often gives a clumpy-look).

Foundation: Lancôme Teint Idole Ultra Long Wear (500 Suede W) | $47 Sephora

Lancôme truly reigns supreme for my warm/yellow undertones. It stays on for 24 hours and has my skin looking like butter (in the best way, of course)! It provides medium to full coverage.

Highlight: Anastasia Beverly Hills Sun Dipped Glow Kit | $40 Ulta

I love that these highlights all look great on my brown skin and don't appear white. I mostly use the shade Bronzed (top left in picture below) for a golden-brown look. I also like that this highlight doesn't look streaky when applied, even if I just use my fingers.

Setting spray: Urban Decay All Nighter Long-Lasting Setting Spray | $33 Sephora

What I like the most about this vegan setting spray is that it is light-weight and keeps my makeup in place during any weather condition.

Gloss: Fenty Gloss Bomb (Color: Hot Chocolit) | $19 Sephora

I have used $2 beauty-supply store lipgloss before and while they do have my lips glistening, they often are very sticky and leave a residue over time. This Fenty Gloss Bomb gives me that shine without feeling overly sticky. Also, the brown tint just gives me LIFE!

Body: Fenty Body Lava

Body Luminizer (Brown Sugar) | $59 Sephora

I must first say that I purchased this on sale for 30% off and never thought I would buy it. However, after using it I am in love. I put this on at the beach (after applying sunscreen) and it stayed on after tossing in the waves! This product isn't greasy and transfers very minimal product onto your clothes. I wore white on purpose to try this out and didn't have issues with the product staining nor leaving marks on my clothes.
